Recently noticed spoons in the trash…seems our kids were always in a hurry and would throw their paper plates AND metal spoons in the trash can. Grabbed them when we saw them and obvi told kids not to do it, but figured they still were as our spoon collection dwindled. We didn’t want to buy a “nice” set, considering, and settled on these. PERFECT. You can even dig out ice cream without one bending in half! Plus, they look decent enough. And most importantly, it doesn’t hurt our wallets if a few go missing.Absolutely would buy again. Actually, might have to check out their forks next.I have no idea why we are always so short on spoons, but they must go with single socks. These spoons are very nice. I like them so much, I’m going to buy the forks and knives too.I am not a fancy person when it comes to silverware as long as it is decent and usable. I like that they are simple and durable. I use them everyday and for anything that calls for a spoon except I don’t like to use them as a serving spoon. The longer teaspoon on the left is the one being reviewed. It does not feel as good as or as high quality as the Artaste teaspoon also from Amazon.Somehow (probably kids) we had lost 3 of our teaspoons and needed to replace them.. Our original cutlery pattern has been discontinued and, unwilling to pay $200+ for THREE spoons, I grabbed these on prime day, figuring the shape would be close enough and if not, oh well. They are indeed more than close enough and I actually prefer the proportions and shape of these to our original Williams Sonoma Borromeo cutlery! I will definitely come back to this product when we inevitably start coming up short on forks and knives. It’s the perfect size for normal home use, (cereal, tea spoon, perfect curve ) overall excellent for daily use, kids love it and so do us adults! Would definitely recommend it.Granddaughters (I'm guessing) lost most of teaspoons that match my set. Grrrr do not want to pay a bundle to replace again. These are plain. Comfortable to hold and very sturdy. I'll put these on the table when they come. Very happy with them. Was actually impressed really nice spoons for the price and I really like the sizeThis is an easy read and an enjoyable book, as I could relate to many of the pieces and parts, playing hockey and coming from the prairies myself. I have a question or I suppose a note related to the publication:I don't understand the logic in publishing a book of this nature while one is still involved in the profession he writes about. I would be interested to know why the timing of its release. That aside, its an inspirational and great (however tragic) story about an Inuit boy who defied great odds not only as a hockey player, but geographical, personal and racial obstacles to become one of the most recognizable players in the National Hockey League. Its a profound story for those people who feel that they may be facing insurmountable obstacles in their own quest to reach the pinnacle of success in their personal or professional lives, or even to realize their dreams. Its about hard work, tragedy, family dynamics, emotional and substance abuse, and the difficulties that face any minority who strive to leave broken situations for a better life. I commend Tootoo for his book and certainly enjoyed the writing style and captivating story that he and Steve Brunt have put together. A good read. Enjoyed it, and would recommend it.I'm a huge Montreal Canadiens fan, but lately I've been getting into reading books on different hockey players in the NHL. This book is definitely on my favourites list. Tootoo's journey from the juniors to the NHL is a big one and I can't imagine going through what he went through as a kid and as an adult. As someone who's parent is a recovering alcoholic, this book hit home for me and I recommend that everyone (into hockey or not) should pick this book up.great read. Interesting story of the life of TootooAlso feels like you are there sitting beside him as he tells you his story. Excellentan interesting easy read
