This is one of the best videos I have seen about living and working on the Antarctica continent, from a different perspective, that of a "guest," not only showing the actual conditions in winter and how people cope and actually live and work, but also in handling situations, and how all the worlds and nation's people assigned there, in having mutual understanding and cooperation while working together, are surviving even while under extreme temperatures The saddest thing is how so many animals are left behind when winter hits and they become ice mummies, frozen in time, unable to get to the sea before it freezes over....(these may be younger animals, not quite old enough, being born during a late breeding-cycle or those who may become crippled in trying to get food to feed their young ones). My only hope is that the rest of humanity will be guided by all the information gathered by the scientists and awaken more to the fact that the ozone layers are being compromised by our present activities, attitudes, and indifferences towards our environmental home, Earth, which we have taken for granted as being around forever. Only by all working together, and in helping to save our planet's environment from extinction, will we ever achieve the goals we truly desire, not only for our planet, but also for our own survival, which is saving what we now have before it all becomes contaminated or goes extinct. With every extinction of our planet's life forms, we are also ever closer to turning our planet into an uninhabitable world. Dependent upon each species for its survival, when one goes, others will follow.
