I drive a service van in southern California. I was afraid a Yeti would scream "smash my window and steal me" so I opted for a Camp-Zero, which I received right before our nasty heat wave. It has been 113 degrees or hotter. On the bottom of the cooler is one $5 blue ice pack, my lunch, a few bottles of water (2 frozen, rest chilled) , and one last $1 blue ice pack. In between, I've placed a digital thermometer which read between 37 and 39 degrees all day. My old Igloo had twice as many ice packs was over 55 degrees by 2 p.m. while the Camp-Zero was still below 40 degrees at 4 p.m.. A water bottle partially spilled at the end of the day. One hour later, I pulled the bottom ice pack out the water had started to freeze around it the blue ice pack. This is after being in the van all day in +113 degree heat. I don't care if only 2 ounces of ice has melted in 48 hours. I want a cold, safe to eat lunch and sometimes dinner, this cooler filled my needs. 110% would purchase again.Fits long neck bottles. Fourteen in total. Eleven standing up and threw across the top. Ice them down (warm) in the morning before lunch and they are cold with plenty of ice left at the end of your day (5:30pm ish). Melting does occur but cubes will still be left by the afternoon the next day. I suggest pre-cooling beers to spread over more than three days. But 14 beers over 48+ hours with one round of ice and you should be fine. Great for a weekend fishing trip.Very nice cooler has held ice for multiple days, heavy duty design means it works great on the job site and as a good seat! The divider is a nice addition and the plug is nice too! Only complaint is the handle design definitely needs more thought it will rub and cause long term damage!bought this one because of the height, it doubles as a camp seat. took it on a hot weekend camping trip and it kept the ice going all weekend. the divider inside is a nice plus to keep the food and beer separate.if this is your first rotomolded cooler be forewarned that they are much heavier than the same size traditional cooler, although this is a small cooler it gets quite heavy once it is filled up.This cooler is perfect in size for me and my car setup, and it retains cold much better then Igloo that I had ( 89$ ) until it was taken by bear. At first I was about to send it back because i thought it will be too small, but decided to try it out and took for 2 weeks of car camping. It worked out better then I thought, so not sending back.It is a little top heavy as would be expected. It fits nicely in a bucket seat. It is a little small on the inside as all these types of coolers seem to be , but it does a good job and was lot less $ .“It has a plug? Awesome, and a divider. Tall enough for wine bottles too,” said t surprised husband. I lost the lid to our ancient “Oscar” and read many reviews and this is what I purchased for a replacement. My husband was a bit surprised I spent this much on a cooler, but it’s the last one I am going to have to buy!It will hold wine bottles upright- and can hold so much more.
