Works as advertised. Fairly easy to install.Easy installFit easyThe part was great easy to install.So my ice acuator broke during a holiday party, probably from a little overuse. I wasn't sure what the problem was at first but after researching and figuring out the problem was a broken piece on the ice acuator I was at ease that I didn't have to replace the motor or anything major. After taking off the cover to the ice and water dispenser I saw that a small plastic piece that was a quarter inch in length was the problem. It had broken off and was not making the proper contact when a cup would be pressed against the acuator to dispense the ice. The fix was a quick 10-15 minutes after I had received my part. Works perfect now.The new part was designed with more structural reinforcement. Installation is relatively easy if you're handy. Biggest challenge is re-installing the drinking water line. Helps to pull excess line from the bottom of the door and push it up to the dispenser area. Then re-install, then pull the excess line back down.It was easy to install and now we can get ice from the door again! We use it a lot so weren’t surprised that we wore it out.
