Book 1I absolutely loved this book! The author did such an amazing job at providing us with the possibility of identifying with such a collection of amazing, relatable and lovable characters! There are so many things I loved about this book that I do not know where to begin. As you read the book you realize that each chapter is told from a different character's point of view. I thought this was a very creative way to give us a sense of each one without having to make them interact with each other all of the time, and at the same time take us to the different settings the world in this book consisted of.One of the things that made me fall in love with it, was the way the world was described with such detail, which is probably the reason why this book is so humonganormous. Also, each character was written with depth and individuality, resulting in realistic and humane personalities. Because of this, nothing was black or white, not one character was perfect and most of the times you were able to understand the reasoning behind the characters choices and way of being. But I think what won me over was the character of the Imp. For all of you who have not read any of the books in the series or watched the tv adaptation, the Imp, is a dwarf by the name of Tyrion Lannister, who is born into a very wealthy family and this family is basicly the nest for most of the hardcore villains in the story. The reason why I love this character so much and the story for portraying him in such a light is because I feel that for the first time, an author has actually included a character that is a dwarf with the personality of a real person and not portrayed him as some sort of comical relief. Now, don't get me wrong, this character was indeed one of the funniest individuals in the story, but he was also one of the more intelligent ones, and this, in my opinion is something that should have been done ages ago by epic story writers. I know I am taking things a little to heart, but I have always been a little offended when dwarves are always portrayed as clowns or magical beings. They are people, they exist in the world and they should be given the opportunity to be part of our lives wether it be in a movie or in a book, in a normal way. I just love Tyrion Lannister and I loved what Martin did with him in this book. The plot in this book was absolutely unpredictable. I have read so many fantasy novels, that most of the times I can predict what is going to happen next, but with this series, I have not been able to do that. And for this, I thank you George R. R. Martin. For leaving me wanting for more. For being such an amazing writer and proving that, by killing two of my favorite characters Drogo and Ned Stark and still finding a way to make me continue wanting to read the series! For creating Arya, who is so kick ass, I just want to get a sword and stick em' with the pointy end.For creating Danearys Targaryan, and showing us the amazing development of a beautiful princess and damsel in distress into one awesome and fearsome female leadin' dragon ridin' godess. You have awoken the dragon in me.I love you George R. R. Martin, and because of this amazing connection I know that we both share with each other, I know you will grant me this favor which is the only thing I will ever ask of you my love. Please kill Sansa. She is annoying. Thank you!So, even though I wish I could just say I loved everything about this book, which I did, I always try to be objective so I'm just going to name one thing I wish would have been different, but this is no way changes my love for this series because it was 'da bomb! I wish that within the range of characters that the author chose to use for the different narrating perspectives and experiences, the Lannisters would also have been included in order for us to read about everything from their perspective. I dont why, maybe I'm just evil myself, but I LOVE me a villain and I think it would have been very enriching to see things through the eyes of the Queen, her brother Jaime, her son the future king, or heck any of the other Lannister children. But hey this was only the first book in the series I have read and there are still six more to read (four of which have already been published), so maybe we will be given a chance in the future to fall in love with the characters we love to hate.P.S.Because of the unpredictability of this amazing, brilliant work of art, the following prediction is probably wrong but I nevertheless still have to get it out of my sistem. So here it goes: I don't know why you guys, but I have this feeling in the gut of my stomach, that Ned Stark who I loved and I still think is perfect is not capable or was not capable of cheating on his wife. I mean seriously you guys, it's Ned Stark we're talking about. I believe, that Ned Stark was actually fullfilling his sister's dying wish (you know, the sister that was supposed to be married to Robert Baratheon) before she was raped by one of the Targaryans and then died. Well I think this wish consisted of making Ned promise her before she died that he would take care of her son, Jon Snow, who is probably the product of this rape. And because she knew how Robert would most likely react by probably wanting to seek revenge and kill the baby, she made Ned promise her he would protect him, and in keeping this promise, Ned preferred to lose his honor in the eyes of society in order to protect his nephew Jon Snow. This idea came to me, because a couple of times in the story, Ned kept remembering his sister's dying words, "Promise me Ned, promise me"! So yeah, what do YOU think?Book 2I am completely in love with the "Song of Ice and Fire" series and this second book did not disappoint me. I was not expecting it to be better than the first one but it it most definitely was, and while I read the "Game of Thrones" in four days, I went through this one in only three days, all while this one being longer than the last. George R. R. Martin proved once again his talent as an amazing author by creating a sequel that was just as riveting, just as addicting and with as much attention to detail and character depth description as the first, if not more. I could not put this book down until I finished it! Would definitely recommend it!Book 3Before I begin with this review, I would like to warn you that this video, will as usual, contain commentaries on my behalf that may just spoil the reading of this installment. So, if you have not read the third book, "A Storm Of Swords" in the "A Song of Ice And Fire" series, I highly suggest you pick up the book first and read it before watching this video.Wow, this book was huge! And I had mentioned this before in one of my previous videos, but what I had not realized was how this would affect the actual reading of it. Oh my goodness, I got into all the positions you can imagine and they always resulted in the cramping of my fingers or in terrible back pain. So in the end, I had to do something I thought I would never do before, I downloaded the eBook version (creepy music: tun tun tun).Reading the eBook version of a book is usually a no no for me simply because I have an obsessive compulsive disorder regarding owning the physical copies of all the books I have read, am reading or will read. In this case however, I am not in any way exaggerating when I say that at least for me, there was no other way to read this book.So far, A Storm of Swords has become my favorite book in this series, and please excuse me if I am not being objective enough but I really have nothing negative to say about this book.George R.R. Martin did not disappoint me as far as the character perspectives were involved. He must have watched one of my previous videos because in this book, he actually included many different character narratives, including Jaime Lannister and Queen Cersei's point of views, and boy did I love listening, or in this case reading, their side of the story.I never thought I'd say this but I am now in love with Jaime Lannister. Sure, his love for twin sister Cersei is disgusting, but the faith and certainty behind it is actually quite charming once you get used to its twistedness. As a matter of fact, I have come to the conclusion that those poor twins are monstrous as a result of their upbringing and nothing more.As for our favorite Dragon Princess, Daenerys Targaryen, of course I still think she is awesome but sometimes she kind of annoys me with her bad judgement, which by now I thought would have disappeared after everything she has friggin' been through. But no, do you think she ever listens to the people she can trust? Of course not, she usually does exactly the opposite. Although on her behalf, I do not think her poor judgement has any correlation to her intelligence but more to do with her being a very proud control freak. I still love her though, so back off! Only I can critisize the blood of the dragon! My favorite parts in this book? Gosh, there were so many I do not even know where to begin, but to list a few:1) When Tyrion finally demands his rights to his father.2) Finding out what really happened when Jaime killed the last Targaryen king.3) Tyrion's marriage to a very unlikely little lady.4) Edmure Tully's Marriage, in which we experience very dark and terrifying moments. I almost peed on my pants. Ok, too much information there.Anyways before I move on to part #5 I want to just say a few things about this event in particular. I loved this scene because it is when I finally understand why I have never been too fond of Robb Stark from the beginning. Not only is he immature and selfish (he breaks off his marriage promise to the Frey girl but then demands the same from his uncle) but also he is also just annoyingly stupid. I mean who in the world has a direwolf and decides to ignore them when they try to warn you about someone? You guessed right, only Robb Stark. Although in his defense, somewhere in the book he does do something in benefit of Jon Snow that makes me forget all the frustrations he put me through.5) The choosing of Jon Snow (and I will not specify for what). This scene was like music to my ears.6) The truth about the death of Jon Arryn. And yes my friends, there is another truth and damn it is explosive. I literally screamed when I read about this.7) The deaths of two sisters and a little girl and the revival of two of them. Confused? Read and unconfuse yourself then. And of course, I must end this review with a prediction about the gorgeous muffin, Jon Snow. I still think, like I mentioned before in a previous video, that he is not Ned Stark's son, but now, in addition to this, I also believe that the whole deal with the Lord of the Light and stuff has something to do with Jon Snow and that he may be the chosen one and not Stannis Baratheon. Although, I'm just saying!
