I was hoping this would have more of an air conditioning effect, but it is really just a cool air fan. The fan is pretty powerful though. It comes with 2 small hard plastic ice packs. But they are useless for cooling. So we just add ice to the water and it does a pretty good job of cooling. When it is in the 90's outside we can get our room to cool from the high 70's to the low 80's mid afternoon. So not super cool. But a healthier option than the older fans.I like the tall sleek look. It has a few speeds, etc.The water drawer is not super user friendly. You have to clean it once a week. It requires a small screwdriver to get out. Once you have done it you should be ok for future. But still a pain.If I had it to do over again, for the price I would probably buy it again.I was so excited to receive this fan. Great product as a fan; however, the 'AC' like cooling pitch for this product is hyped. Not much difference in the cooling effect, if any at all. That's the reason for my rating.This product arrived on time and in great condition.This fan has a nice sleek modern design that will fit nicely with your home decor. The swamp cooler can cool a small room, specially at night. This will not take the place of an ai conditioner.I ordered and unit was ok and then stopped blowing. Emailed company even though 30 days had passed and could not return through Amazon. They verified it was not working (I sent video) and a new one was sent right away. This one has been great - works very well, cools room quickly, very quiet (i like the white noise) when sleeping. Very happy with purchase and the fast service!Even in a room of 88 degrees and no alternative ac source, dropped the temperature significantly. Use cold water for best results. Possibly even adding ice cubes as the packs are mostly useless.Fan works good, but after 1 week it's very noisySeems to work ok. They don’t sell parts I wanted extra ice packs they won’t sell. So if your fan breaks they also don’t sell parks. BadThe product is very quiet and is not intrusive looking as some of the other units we tried. Customer Service help was amazing!
