Purchased for a bit of a non-traditional use. That is, tying my light airplane down when i overnight or go to lunch after landing on frozen lakes here in Wisconsin. I just took a chance on this product, and although they are a bit expensive, they work great. Easy to turn into the ice, extremely secure, and the hole is large enough to fit some tie down rope through. After reading reviews of other ice screws, I sprang for the extra bucks for these and am very happy.
